BORN IN HAWAII, BROUGHT UP IN KYOTO JAPAN

The artist, who works in both pottery and painting, gives free rein to arbitrariness in her monochrome, abstract pieces. 

Her works have achieved success, with AMAN having ordered pieces as large as 3 meters for Presidential Sweet rooms, and recently the World Heritage Kiyomizu Temple opened exclusively for her to create ART inside the Temple for a month for ascetic practice. 

Softness and skill can be observed in her ceramics and freedom and powerfulness in her way of self-taught paintings.

ハワイ生まれ、京都育ち

陶芸と絵画の両方で活動する作家は、モノクロームの抽象的な作品で自由な恣意を発揮する。

世界的ラグジュアリーリゾートAMANではプレジデンシャル・スウィートルーム用に3メートルもの大作をオーダーされ最近では世界遺産・清水寺で1ヶ月間、修行のために重要文化財内でART制作を行うなど、彼女の作品は各方面から評価を得ている。

彼女の陶芸には柔らかさと技巧が見受けられ、独学で学んだ絵画には自由さと力強さが感じられる。陶芸と絵画の二刀流で今後世界に羽ばたく彼女の活躍に注目である。
